Coffee Talk!

… with your host Paul Baldwin!
Paul still has some conectivitis in his ganikavazoink, so Poe will have to do. (; (Or whatever Mike Myers actually said. Been a while since I saw it on SNL reruns.)

Anyway. I’m watching TV and the character said something which made me think.

“What makes a child go bad? Nature or nurture?” Now, another character responded “By the time we get involved, it really doesn’t matter.” (They are police officers.)

My thought was – both. Nature can make a child go bad just like nurture can.

Good kids can go bad because of environment. And bad kids can come from a great environment.

What do y’all think?

i *kinda* agree in the broad sense of adult crime and such, but as far as children behaving while shopping nurture makes a huge difference…

Horray! No more problems with commenting! <3 the daniel comments.

Ha. Ain’t that the truth. Parents who just let their kids run all over. I swear. If I had done that as a kid, my mom would have had my hide. And I knew it. Holy cow.

Nature accounts for about 14% the rest goes to nurture in my opinion. I know folks in every walk of life here in my little town and it matters little where they come from, it all seems to be how they were raised.

And as someone who cooks for a living let me tell you…it’s not only shopping that parents have no control over their kids…
